Please note that the research proposal is not binding, you have to identify a topic for your PhD research only at the end of the first year, when you submit the thesis proposal.
The suggested lenght of the proposal is about 10 pages.
MOTIVATIONS, GOALS and EXPERIENCES
What are your reasons for undertaking graduate studies? You may wish to discuss past work in your area of research interest and related fields, your plans for a professional career, or how you developed your interest in or knowledge in computer science.
What experiences that you have had you feel have prepared you to pursue a PhD degree?

CONTEXT and STATE OF THE ART
Place the proposed research within the setting of the research theme you have selected. For instance, what is the problem addressed by the proposal, why is it significant?
Describe the state of the art which is relevant for the research proposal. For instance, results or techniques that you plan to exploit, or that you plan to improve.
OBJECTIVES and EXPECTED RESULTS
Here you could mention also methods, techniques, results that you expect to exploit to achieve the objectives.
BIBLIOGRAPHY
List bibliographic references relevant for describing the research proposal. Label each item in the list (e.g. with a number) to make citations possible.
