R.A.M.S.E.S.
Remote Archeological Mobile Support Enhanced System
R.A.M.S.E.S. is a project by Disi (Department of Computer Science,
University of Genoa, Italy) in cooperation with archaeologists of
I.I.A.S,
aimed to make archeological excavations easier.
The technologies employed in Ramses range from wireless networking,
to distributed object stores.
Our aim is to improve fieldwork communication through use of
electronic devices connected with a wireless LAN to the whole Internet.
This site is intended to publish the results of this research,
and to share our technology with other people interested in this area.
