  • Born in Catania, Sicily, 12 April 1968.
  • June 1992: Laurea (~ Degree) cum laude in Computer Science at the University of Pisa.
  • 1992 to 1994: Research grants at Consorzio Pisa Ricerche, Pisa.
  • February 1999: PhD in Computer Science, Universita' di Genova).
  • June 1999 to February 2000: Research grant at CASPUR, Universita' ``La Sapienza'' di Roma.
  • Current position: Assistant Professor (since November 2000).

      an implementation of Oauth 2.0 server, written in php using Zend Framework
      (current maintainer).

      a web application making use of Oauthwo that demonstrates the automatic compilation of italian "modello 730" using the Smart Disclosure principle (current maintainer).

    • The NEarly BLind Overlay (NEBLO)
      a peer-to-peer infrastructure for anonymous distributed applications.

    • The Genoa Active Message MAchine (GAMMA)
      a system for low-latency communication on clusters of PCs.

      an efficient implementation of MPI for GAMMA; based on MPICH.
