  • Born in Catania, Sicily, 12 April 1968.
  • June 1992: Laurea (~ Degree) cum laude in Computer Science at the University of Pisa.
  • 1992 to 1994: Research grants at Consorzio Pisa Ricerche, Pisa.
  • February 1999: PhD in Computer Science (DISI, Universita' di Genova).
  • June 1999 to February 2000: Research grant at CASPUR, Universita' ``La Sapienza'' di Roma.
  • Current position: Assistant Professor (since November 2000).

    • Peer-to-peer systems, with emphasis on anonymity issues.

    • Clusters of PCs and their applications.

    • Operating systems, parallel processing, parallel computer architectures.
