Next: Conference Committee Up: PNPM '97 Previous: Scope

General Information

The 1997 Workshop on Petri Nets and Performance Models (PNPM) is being held together with the 1997 International Conference on Techniques and Tools for Performance Evaluation. The two conferences will be held June 3-6, 1997, in the Palais du Grand Large, Saint Malo (see this nice picture if you can afford downloading a 65959 bytes JPEG file), France. Tutorials and Tool Exhibitions will be shared by the two conferences.

The workshop will be three days long from Wednesday to Friday. The first day (Tuesday, June 3rd) will be devoted to Tutorials (in cooperation with the TOOLS'97 Conference). The objective is to provide a forum for the presentation of original contributions in the areas of Timed and Stochastic Petri Nets and their applications in the design and performance evaluation of systems. Invited talks will be organized in addition to regular sessions.

Saint Malo is situated on the north coast of Brittany (North West of France), 60 km. from Rennes and lapped by the green waters of the Emerald Coast. City of art and history, St. Malo owes its renown to Privateers and gallant seamen (Surcouf, Jacques Cartier) but also to famous writers and scientists (Chateaubriand, Moreau de Maupertuis).
