Research

Research activities at DISI cover a selection of current areas in Computer Science.

The most up-to-date technologies and their applications are investigated in a variety of research activities.

Projects range from student-based exploratory topics to works funded by the main public research institutions (such as the Ministry of Research, the National Research Council, the Italian Space Agency, and the National Institute for the Physics of Matter), to large-scale cooperative research activities funded by the European Community.

Of course, a significant amount of research efforts is devoted to applied research activities in cooperation with the industrial world.
