Registration (deadline for early registration: JULY 15)

Registration to EXPRESS 97 should be made by sending a EXPRESS 97 registration form via MAIL

Registration fees

The registration fee includes the reception, coffee breaks and lunches during the conference, and a copy of the proceedings.

If you register as a student (either PhD or master student), please enclose evidence that you are indeed a student. This is not necessary if you have enclosed the URL of your personal web page in the registration form.

Confirmation to your registration will be sent by email, upon receiving your payment.

Special requirements

If you have special requirements (e.g. dietary restrictions), please specify them in your registration. Hotel Regina Elena will do its best to meet your requests.

Payment of fees

Payment of the registration fee has to be made in advance in ITALIAN LIRE (and without charges to the organizers) by:

Bank transfers should be made without charges to the organizers, and should specify "EXPRESS 97" and the name of the person registered as reason for the transfer. A photocopy of the bank transfer should be enclosed with the registration form.

Excursion and social dinner

We are planning to have on Tuesday 9 September an excursion in the old center of Genova, followed by a social dinner. If you intend to participate to either of the events, possibly with an accompaning person, please fill in the appropriate space in the registration form. The charge for each person will be the cost of the meal (about 80,000--100,000 ITL, i.e. 50-60 USD) plus a small fee for the bus, and the payment can be done at the conference.

Hotel Reservations (deadline for guaranteed requests: JULY 31)

Hotel accommodation can be reserved by sending a Hotel Registration Form via FAX or MAIL

After JULY 31 requests are accepted, but there is no guarantee that they can be satisfied.

Hotel prices

Entries give the price range of a room per day inclusive of breakfast and taxes. Hotels are within walking distance (at most 500 meters) from the Conference Hotel, and all rooms have private bathrooms. If you want a single room, you may give as second option double used as single.

Requests will be handled on a first come first served basis, therefore it is advisable to send the hotel registration form well before the deadline. Confirmation to your reservation will be sent by fax (with price and address of the hotel).

Special requirements

If you have special requirements (e.g. you want half board, dietary restrictions, room arrangements for family or children), please specify them as part of the reservation information. DAVOR VIAGGI will do its best to find a hotel able to meet your requests.

Hotel guarantee

In order to guarantee your reservation a first night deposit is needed. The SIMPLEST WAY to do this is by CREDIT CARD. Otherwise you have to pay an advance deposit in ITALIAN LIRE (and without charges to the organizers) by:

The exact amount to pay will be sent with your confirmation. Your reservation will be guaranteed only when payment for one night has been received.

Cancellations and refunds

To cancel please send an e-mail message to expr97@disi.unige.it, and a fax to DAVOR VIAGGI (if you have made an hotel reservation).

You may ask for a refund less an administrative charge of 100000 ITL, if you have cancelled before AUGUST 15 (note that if you used a credit card as guarantee for your hotel reservation, it will not be charged if you cancel before AUGUST 15).

Refunds are settled after the conference.
