| Abstract |
The presentation will be focused on two general lines:
presenting the Faculty of Computer Science and LAPT - Laboratory for Acquisition, Processing and Transmission of Data, a research laboratory
from University Politehnica of Bucharest. Presentation of Faculty of Automatics and Computer Science will include general information and statistics about our faculty.
The research foscused on security, the second part of the presenation, include descption of current projects developed by research team in LAPT. There will be presented projects concerning access control, automatic personal identification, electronic transactions, based on smart card, with aspects of bioemtrics (results already obtained, applications, future research directions)
