| Abstract |
Question Answering has become a promising research field whose aim is to provide
more natural access to the information than traditional document retrieval techniques.
In this talk I will present a QA approach based on the use of the lexical context of the
named entities that allows to identify the possible answers to short factoid questions
stated in natural language. The evaluation of this approach was made following
QA@CLEF03 criteria on a corpus of over 200,000 news in Spanish. In the last part of
the talk I will show and discuss the results achieved by our system. |
