| Abstract |
Abstract: In this talk we present modifications of some popular iterative
methods for the solution of linear systems arising from the discretization of
linear ill-posed problems which force the nonnegativity of the computed
solution. Computed examples clearly show that the methods
can be much more efficient that other methods proposed in the literature and
often determine a qualitatively superior solution.
