| Abstract |
The recent ruling by Justice Wilcox in the Australian Court about
Sharman Networks, the distributor of Kazaa Media Desktop, made news
around the world. Justice Wilcox found that Sharman Networks was guilty
of authorising copyright infringement. This seminar will give a
perspective of this interesting and important case from one of the
expert witnesses. It has been estimated that each side spent almost $10
million on the case. |
