Brainstorming session --------------------- The intention behind the brainstorming session is to complement the formal talks with some informal discussion. We would among other things like to see if we can identify synergies between the different topics (and perhaps as a consequence propose specialized workshops at the intersection between two different topics). It is also an occasion to assess what has been said in the topic sessions (are we on track, do we need to revise our plans?) and to bring up interesting new research problems. This is your chance to present crazy ideas. Be inflammatory and generate discussion! John Hughes and I will collect offers of (5 minute) contributions during the workshop. (Or now!) Business meeting ---------------- This will provide an opportunity to plan next year's APPSEM activities. In particular we should decide where to hold the next general APPSEM meetings and what small specialized workshop which should be held. Please let me know in advance if you want to bring up other issues to be discussed during the business meeting! The business meeting is open to all participants at the workshop. Peter Dybjer
